Children's Ministry Director

We are a small church near the UC Berkeley campus, passionate about the Presence of God! We believe that God loves to encounter our precious little ones, and the design of our children’s program should facilitate opportunities to know Him more.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a peaceful, joyful, safe environment during Kids Church
• Schedule and equip children’s ministry volunteers
• Prepare lesson plans and crafts/activities for each Sunday service
• Ensure that children’s ministry supplies are always stocked and organized
• Cover space, kids, and volunteers in prayer!

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in childcare or children’s ministry
• Experience leading a team or coordinating volunteers preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable reliability, consistency, and punctuality
• Passion to lead children to encounter God’s presence, and a firm belief that there is no “junior” version of the Holy Spirit!
