Launch Activate | Host Application Form | Summer Experience Program 2023
Vision: The vision is to raise up the next generation of pastors and leaders for the local churches within BLN.
Objective: Deploy BSSM 2nd Year “Launch Pastoral Leadership Track” students for between 6 to 8 weeks work experience across our BLN network.
Background.
In 2021, BLN decided to partner with BSSM and create the “Launch Pastoral Ministry Track” with the vision of raising up the next generation of church leaders. The goal was to gather BSSM 2nd year students, who knew they were called to full-time church vocational ministry and give them practical training and experiences from leaders across Bethel, BSSM, and our BLN network. In order to increase the level of experiential training, the team developed “Launch Activate” a summer work experience program with our BLN churches.
What is Launch Activate?
The objective of the Launch Activate program is to send out teams of 2 or more students from the Launch Pastoral Leadership Track, Children's, youth and worship tracks into BLN leaders’ churches or organizations. The goal is that each group of two or more students would serve, learn and grow in their practical leadership within the context of a real church or organization. The Summer Experience program begins on June 01, 2023, and ends on August 1st, 2023.
Who can apply for Launch students?
Currently, this opportunity is open to leaders who are connected with Bethel as “Influence” or "builder" members within BLN.
What are the requirements for Churches or Organizations?
- Provide accommodation (host home) for students for the duration and to provide some meals at host homes.
- Establish clear achievable goals for the students to accomplish during their "work experience".
- For BLN members and their teams to meet with the students for coaching and mentoring at least twice during the "work experience".
- While students are part of the Summer Launch Activate program, the church/ministry will look after their transportation to and from ministry experiences.

- Interview applicants in a timely fashion
- Notify BLN of any students that you invite to join you. Email shane.mandl@bethel.com
- A member of the BLN executive board will be in contact with you in the lead up to summer and then during and post the students tenure.
We trust this program will be a successful on-ramp for these future church pastoral leaders to be trained up and connected into strategic centers of revival.
